Tell Congress to Save the Land & Water Conservation Fund
The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), one of our nation's most important conservation and recreation programs, continues to be a political football in Washington budget talks. LWCF has been an important tool in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem for conserving land and providing recreational access. Thanks to Senators Tester (D-MT) and Daines (R-MT) and Congressmen Simpson (R-ID) and Zinke (R-MT) for their leadership and commitment to work towards reauthorizing and fully funding this critical program.
Right now, Congress needs to hear from all of us who care about wild places. Please join us in contacting your congressional representatives and House Speaker Paul Ryan to urge them to include LWCF in the budget that is being negotiated this week in Washington.
- Write your Senators and Congressman and urge them to reauthorize and fully fund LWCF.
- Contact Speaker Ryan today and urge him to include LWCF in his budget:
