We are excited to announce that we opened a new field office in Lander (WY) earlier this month!

The Lander field office is staffed by Siva Sundaresan, our Wyoming Conservation Coordinator. Siva and his family moved to Lander in August after several years of working on conservation issues, primarily in northwest Wyoming. Eighty percent of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is in Wyoming, so it makes sense for us to have a more robust field presence in the state.

Lander is on the edge of the Wind River Reservation, along the eastern foothills of the Wind River Range, and is home to several of our conservation partners. It's a thriving community of outdoor-minded folks and is one our 2018 Cycle Greater Yellowstone route.

Siva and our Wyoming team will continue our fight to keep public lands in public hands, and he and the team will make sure that we see some of our special public lands protected through the Wyoming Public Lands Initiative.

If you’re in the Lander area, don’t hesitate to stop by the office or give Siva a call.
