GYC and Idaho Fish and Game team up again to protect sportsmen and wildlife across Idaho

Our grizzly bear goals at the Greater Yellowstone Coalition (GYC) center on protecting core grizzly bear habitat, reducing conflicts with humans, and connecting Greater Yellowstone’s grizzlies to other populations in the Northern Rockies. Together with Idaho Fish and Game, we recently educated the public on how to effectively use bear spray at the Idaho Sportsmen Show, with a goal of keeping people safe and bears alive.

Thank you to Idaho Fish and Game for partnering with us, and bringing their bear education trailer and the United States Forest Service’s mechanical bear – the Charger! And to all of those who participated – we always have a blast with you!
