Our Work with the People and Communities of Greater Yellowstone

The Greater Yellowstone Coalition is working with residents of the region to protect the special places we love and solve the conservation problems confronting the ecosystem as its human communities change.

Through our community outreach work, we:

• Build coalitions with business people, rural landowners, civic organizations, community leaders, and citizens to support conservation initiatives;
• Organize citizens to participate in land management decisions;
• Train community leaders to be effective advocates for the ecosystem’s lands, waters, and wildlife in their communities
