Joe Riis is a wildlife photojournalist known for his pioneering documentation of animal migrations in the West. He is a National Geographic contributing photographer and Photography Fellow at the Wyoming Migration Initiative. Riis received an Emmy for his pronghorn cinematography on the National Geographic Great Migrations series in 2011. His photography can be found at joeriis.com and in the Invisible Boundaries exhibit at the museum this summer.
