Imagine crisp spring air, the sunrise over the mountains, and watching a grizzly amble through a meadow. Then, imagine you are not only viewing a sow grizzly, but also two furry little creatures in tow, right in the heart of Yellowstone National Park – the famed Lamar Valley!

Greater Yellowstone Coalition’s Spring Wildlife Trip offers you exactly this type of adventure. You will have the opportunity to watch grizzlies and their cubs, wolves and their pups, and bison with their cinnamon-colored calves contrasting with the bright green grass of spring. Expert guides and staff members will share their knowledge and stories about the wildlife of Lamar Valley while you enjoy the view.

Each day you will travel from the quaint mountain village of Silver Gate, Montana, into the heart of Lamar Valley for wildlife viewing. Silver Gate is a small, rustic, alpine town nestled amidst the willow-banked Soda Butte Creek, a conifer forest, and meadows carpeted with wildflowers.

Cost per person is a $1,495.00.* This includes three nights’ lodging, three meals per day, snacks, evening social hour, and expert guides and transportation to and from Yellowstone National Park. Group size is limited to 14. (*Trip price does not include transportation to or from Silver Gate, Montana.)

Guests will stay in cozy, rustic cabins. Meals will be provided by the historic Log Cabin Café just across the street.
