Henry's Fork of the Snake River
Henry's Fork of the Snake River

Birthed from a crystal-clear spring northeast of Island Park, Idaho, the Henry’s Fork is synonymous with fly-fishing. Anglers travel from the world over to fish with dry flies on the famed Railroad Ranch section south of Island Park and the Box Canyon section to the north. With its consistently clear and cool waters, the Henry’s Fork never freezes, providing a critical home to such endangered species as the trumpeter swan. The river also has two spectacular waterfalls as it tumbles off the Yellowstone Caldera into the Snake River Plain.
