Board of Directors and National Council
Board of Directors
The Greater Yellowstone Coalition Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers who have a broad array of leadership, expertise, and enthusiasm in protecting the world’s first national park and the lands that surround it.
Board members exercise overall responsibility for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition's governance, including setting policy, overseeing fiscal responsibilities and operations, and establishing programs to help achieve the organization’s mission. Appointed by the GYC Board, board members may serve up to two, four-year terms. All members of the board must have a strong commitment to protecting the vast 20-million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
