NAOMI SCHADT
SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
As a Senior Development Associate, Naomi works closely with the fundraising team and her colleagues to retain donors and garner new support for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition’s conservation efforts. Naomi brings over eight years of non-profit experience in event planning, communications, and fundraising to the team.
Naomi was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin and grew up on her family’s farm, surrounded by acres of woods. Before she was able to walk and talk, her family was going on camping adventures in the Rocky Mountain West, where she fell in love with the dynamic ecosystems and geography of mountainous spaces. Naturally, when it came time to go to college, Naomi chose Montana State University, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s in History. Prior to joining the GYC, Naomi worked at the Montana State University Alumni Foundation on their Engagement Team, where she planned events for several programs, crafted strategic communications, and worked closely with their development team.
When she’s not at work, Naomi enjoys reading, making delicious things, spending time outdoors hiking, floating, and camping, occasionally running half marathons, tending to an obnoxious amount of house plants, and cuddling her demanding but adorable cat, Duchess.

Favorite Season in the Greater Yellowstone: Fall, because there’s nothing like the ambience of steam rolling up from the hot springs on a crisp, beautiful fall morning.
