Together, We’re Greater.
The Greater Yellowstone Coalition works with all people to protect the lands, waters, and wildlife of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, now and for future generations. Our work starts small, in conversations and connections. We keep Greater Yellowstone protected and wild by working together.
What We Protect
Public lands are the heart of Greater Yellowstone’s outdoor heritage and economy. We work to keep land wild, intact, and connected for wildlife and people.
Greater Yellowstone’s cold streams, clear lakes, and wild rivers are the lifeblood of the region. These storied waters support iconic fish and wildlife, vibrant public lands, thriving communities, and unmatched opportunities for recreation.
We protect iconic wildlife like bison, grizzly bears, elk and native cutthroat trout. Together, our work ensures that we can safely live, ranch and recreate alongside Greater Yellowstone’s icons.
Where We Work
How We Work
In a time when it seems like compromise is a lost art, the Greater Yellowstone Coalition brings together ranchers, Tribes, scientists, outdoor recreationists, elected officials, and businesses to determine the future of this important region.
Our record of conservation success is only possible when we work together, starting small in conversations. Our commitment to local partnerships sets apart the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and it builds into something greater than one organization.
