HALI CAMPER

DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZER

Hali’s role as GYC’s Development Organizer focuses on database management and gift processing, along with anything else that comes her way.

A Bozeman native, Hali grew up on a homestead that bordered the Custer-Gallatin National Forrest and spent part of every summer vacation camping in the Bitterroot Mountains. Whether by dogsled, cross country skis, or on foot, she learned to look where her dogs look in the woods and to love the smell of summer-warm conifers. She has cried a lot looking out at the stunning landscapes of our region from fire lookouts and high mountain passes.

When not working on GYC’s database or thanking donors, Hali can be found farming lavender, knitting, reading, and camping with her husband, smarty-pants kid, dogs, and friends. She is also engaged in a continual battle against keeping both purslane and urban deer out of her vegetable gardens.
