MONTANA CONSERVATION ORGANIZER
 

The Montana Conservation Organizer works closely with the Montana Conservation Coordinator and other GYC staff to create broad support for community-based campaigns that protect the wild lands and iconic wildlife of southwest Montana. The position assists in building and maintaining relationships with local residents, businesses, elected officials, land management agency staff, and partner organizations, and at times will represent GYC on local collaborative efforts and working groups. Additional responsibilities include organizing local outreach opportunities and assisting with communication efforts on priority campaigns.

GRANTS AND FOUNDATIONS WRITER
 

The Grants and Foundations Writer is primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations, and will persuasively communicate GYC’s mission and programs to potential funders. Reporting to the Director of Development, the person researches, assembles, and submits grant requests, establishes and maintains personal contact and relationships with foundation contacts, conducts prospect research, and maintains a calendar of submissions and other deadlines. He/she will work closely with the management team on reporting and managing these funding requests.

ANNUAL FUND AND DATA Management associate

Greater Yellowstone Coalition seeks a highly motivated, organized, and experienced individual to lead our annual fund program. This position plans and implements fundraising tactics outlined in our strategic plan to acquire new donors and upgrade existing ones to a higher level of giving. The ideal candidate will focus on analytics, improving net revenue, and growing the average gift size of renewing donors. The primary function of this position includes acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship of donors, including database management, reporting, prospecting, gift recording, data integrity, and data security. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned development professional who understands development tactics, executes fundraising strategies, and is detail and goal-oriented. He/she will be a self-starter who is able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve departmental goals.
