SIGNA MCADAMS
WIND RIVER CONSERVATION ORGANIZER
Signa McAdams (Eastern Shoshone) provides the Greater Yellowstone Coalition with community organizing efforts to increase the awareness and efforts of conservation within the Wind River Indian Reservation and surrounding communities.
Born in the valley of the Wind River Mountains, Signa’s love for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem runs in her family. She grew up skiing, fishing, and hiking with her brothers, numerous aunts, uncles, and scads of cousins.
When not working you can find Signa trailing her fearless daughter on their many adventures together, snuggling with her feisty cat SJ, or with her family cooking dinner.
Favorite Season in Greater Yellowstone: Late spring is by far the best season in GYE because you can go hiking and “it’s not too hot, not too cold and all you need is a light jacket!”
Podcast I’d Recommend: Smartless. Hands down. Just don’t be surprised if you scare your coworkers in a quiet office by an outburst of laughter.
Favorite Greater Yellowstone Animal: There are far too many to pick a favorite!
